At the beginning of this project, I was inspired to design pieces that would work for someone like my mother,  an entrepreneur who loves to be stylish but likes pieces that work with her current wardrobe. 

I wanted to focus on pieces that were bold and expressive but demanded respect. In addition, I wanted pieces that were functional and slimmed the areas of the body that might make older women more insecure. For my prototyping process, I decided to focus on a jumpsuit that was feminine, modern, and slimming.
